In March 2007, my father-in-law could no longer live alone. After visiting several group homes and visiting with the owners, my father-in-law chose Encanto Terrace Elder Care. When I walked into Encanto Terrace, I was so impressed with the beauty. I felt like I had stepped into a villa in Europe. When I met Chris and Marcella, the owners of Encanto Terrace, I knew my father-in-law would be treated with love and respect. I learned that their home is not just a business venture. Because of their Romanian background, they are grounded in love and respect for their elders. They treated my father-in-law and the other residents as if they were family. Marcella loved on my father-in-law as if he were her father. Again, because of her Romanian background, I never saw Marcella serve meals out of a box. When I was there, she was preparing homemade soups and other delicious, nutritious meals. When Chris would come home from work, he, too, got involved. He often sat and just talked with my father-in-law man to man.
